I am excited to tell you about our August Club Meeting! Summer can go by too fast, so be sure to put Monday, August 28 at 7pm on your calendars.
Join us at our August Club Meeting as we hear from founding and early members of the Greater Lowell Road Runners. Our panelists, John Barbour, Jean (Boswell) Barry, Dave Camire, Scott Graham, John Morrison, Gerard Ottaviano, and Jim Stronach will tell us about the early days of GLRR, what running and races were like then, and I’m sure there will be some witty banter with other long time members in our audience. I can’t wait!
Just a reminder that we will NOT have a Monday night club meeting in July. Instead, our July Club Meeting will be at our Summer Outing.
Have you signed up to come to the GLRR Summer Outing on Sunday, July 23 from 12-4? We will gather at the Bunting Club in Lowell where we plan to have outside games, great food, and fun socializing.
*We do NEED someone (or two people) with a truck to do grill pickup on the Thursday or Friday prior to the event and return the grill on Monday. Grill rental will be paid for and just need transportation to and from Tewksbury to the event.

*Berna’s 5k for Woman is this Thursday, July 20. Go to the GLRR website (link in the upper left hand corner) and look under Races for information on how to register, volunteer, or donate to House of Hope.
*Join us on Tuesday nights for the Angry Chicken Race Series. Go to the GLRR website (link in the upper left hand corner) and look under Run with Us to register or volunteer.
