Summer can go by too fast, so be sure to put Monday, August 28 at 7pm on your calendars.   Join us at our August Club Meeting as we hear from founding and early members of the Greater Lowell Road Runners. Our panelists, John Barbour, Jean (Boswell) Barry, Dave Camire, Scott Graham, John Morrison, Gerard Ottaviano, and Jim Stronach will tell us about the early days of GLRR, what running and races were like then, and I'm sure there will be some witty banter with other long time members in our audience. GLRR Summer Outing

We are so excited to have our summer outing on July 23rd at the Bunting Club from 12-4pm. (Bunting Club is located at 449 Boylston St, Lowell, MA 01852).   GLRR will be providing food and a drink ticket for everyone, but we do need some help from our members. Please see the signup genius for opportunities to help support the club during this event. We are excited to mix and mingle with everyone and fingers crossed enjoy some fun in the sun. We will have access to the softball field for wiffle ball and dodgeball if anyone wants to play. We can also play other field day/yard games, horseshoes, corn hole and other games of your choosing weather dependent. If the weather is not cooperative, we can use the indoor…

Just a reminder that our June Club Meeting will be on Monday, June 26 at 7:00 at Princeton Station.   We will go over club news and hear from our guest speaker, Alicia Burillo PT, DPT, OCS | Physical Therapist, Clinical Director -Partner   Alicia is the clinical director at Professional Physical Therapy in Dracut. She has been practicing for ten + years and is an orthopedic certified specialist and is level 1 RRCA running coach. She has been a runner most of her life including college and has run several marathons. She will be talking today about returning to running following injury.
