SPRING TRACK - Baby sitters wanted! Spring track is starting soon. This has been a great way of improving your running over the past few years. More on the actual track sessions coming soon. What we need now is baby sitters, or as they’ve been called in the past, Critter Sitters. We are looking for two (or three) responsible teenagers that can baby sit the younger children of those adult members that want to run track. The baby sitters usually take the youngsters to the Harrington School playground and watch over the kids as they run around and play. This is a volunteer opportunity but the sitters do get “gas” money for helping out. The track sessions start April 18th, and go until June 27th. Baby sitting goes…
Don't forget to sign up for the USATF-NE Road Grand Prix. The first race of the series, Super Sunday 4 Miler, is in the books. Next up is the New Bedford Half Marathon (on 3/27) and Frank Nealon Boston Tune-Up 15K (on 3/30). If you're not signed up yet and want to run these and other Grand Prix races with GLRR sign up here. For the Grand Prix, once again we are requiring you to pay a fee of $60. Once you pay this fee, GLRR will pay the Grand Prix race fees for the entire series.
