2. We are collecting new and gently used sneakers for the Wish Project.
Please bring new and gently used sneakers to the Clubhouse during a Saturday group run (roughly 7:45am-9:30am.) Drop your sneakers in the collection box and Julie Gagne will be sure they get to the Wish Project. Our last day for collecting sneakers will be July 1.
3. Join us on Tuesday nights for the Angry Chicken Race Series. Click HERE to register and click HERE to volunteer.
4. Are you ready for some fun? Please save the date for our GLRR Family Outing. More information and sign-ups will go out at a later date but please put Sunday, July 23 from 12-4pm on your calendars. We will gather at the Bunting Club in Lowell where we plan to have outside games, great food, and fun socializing.
5. Looking ahead, please put Monday, August 28 on your calendar. Join us at our August Club Meeting as we hear from founding and early members of the Greater Lowell Road Runners. You will not want to miss it as we hear about the early days of GLRR, what running and races were like, and I’m sure there will be some witty banter with other long-time members in our audience. I can’t wait! (no, I’m not wishing summer away)
Keep running,
Amy Breen
