GLRR’s Boston Marathon Bus

Hello Runners! Are you running Boston on April 21st?  If so, you’ll probably want in on the (in)famous GLRR Boston Bus! It is a coach bus providing transportation to the start line in Hopkinton and from the finish line in Boston after the race.  Here are the benefits of signing up: Pre-Race: Avoid the port-a-potties in Hopkinton.  You can use the bathroom on the coach bus. Skip bag check.  You can leave your gear on the bus and it will be transported to Boston. Avoid the elements (sort of).  We can't help you out on the race course, but if it's pouring rain or blistering hot on race day, you can limit your exposure before the race by staying on the bus. Adult Field Day

There is one week left before we have our first Adult Field Day. In case you missed my earlier message, the Youth Team is sponsoring a day to introduce events in Track and Field that you may be less familiar with. This includes Starting Blocks Hurdles Javelin Long Jump Shot Put    This is scheduled for Saturday morning August 24th from 9 - 12 at Tewksbury High School. We have a rain date of Sunday August 25th same time and location.   While you can just show up the day of the event, we are asking people to fill out a survey so that we can better prepare.
