No Thanksgiving Day group run from the Coop I did not get any real interest in opening the Coop for a Thanksgiving Day group run after asking in an email and at a club meeting. So, enjoy your Turkey day races, running on your own from home, or taking a well deserved rest day.    Inventory Day this Sat. 11/16 from 9-3:00 I will start around 8:30 and there are a variety of different shifts. There are 2 spots still open and we could always use a few extra hands if you are not signed up but decide to stop by. 11th Annual Rachel’s Run, Saturday, November 23

The 11th Annual Rachel’s Run is  Saturday, November 23, 2024 at the Academy of Notre Dame Campus, Tyngsboro, MA.   There are two options you can sign up for: 1.5 Mile Cross Country Community Walk at 9:00 5K Cross Country Community Run at 9:45 These races and walks raise funds for the Academy of Notre Dame Rachel Morrison Science Lab and the Rachel Morrison Scholarship Fund. Sign up for Mill Cities Relay

It’s time to start planning for the Mill Cities Relay!!    The 2024 Mill Cities Relay will be held on Sunday, December 8th beginning at 8am.  We came in 3rd place in 2023 missing 2nd by 1 point and came in 2nd place in 2021 and 2022. However, in 2019 we placed first, so let’s get back to our place as MCR champions and field GLRR’s best and largest number of teams yet!   What is the Mill Cities Relay?  Many regional running clubs belong to the Mill Cities Alliance which form teams in multiple age/gender groups for a relay race from Nashua NH to Lawrence MA, covering more than a marathon’s distance in the process.  While this is a race, and we always like putting together some competitive teams for our speedy runners,…

Reminder to Volunteer for Baystate Marathon

Don't forget to sign up to volunteer for the 2024 Baystate Marathon.   Baystate Marathon is less than 3 weeks away on Sunday, October 20th!  Yikes! It's coming fast.  We really need your help. The success of Baystate is directly related to you as a volunteer.  Please go to this link to sign up to volunteer.
