There is one week left before we have our first Adult Field Day. In case you missed my earlier message, the Youth Team is sponsoring a day to introduce events in Track and Field that you may be less familiar with. This includes Starting Blocks Hurdles Javelin Long Jump Shot Put    This is scheduled for Saturday morning August 24th from 9 - 12 at Tewksbury High School. We have a rain date of Sunday August 25th same time and location.   While you can just show up the day of the event, we are asking people to fill out a survey so that we can better prepare. Volunteer for Baystate and Baystate Course Preview

Don't forget to sign up to volunteer for the 2024 Baystate Marathon and the Baystate Course Preview.   Baystate Marathon is Sunday, October 20th. The success of Baystate is directly related to you as a volunteer.  Go to this link to sign up for these critical volunteer positions.  All the volunteer spots are now available for you to sign up.  Of course, we need really need Course Monitors, but every volunteer spot is important.   The Baystate Course Preview will be on Sunday, September 29th.  We still need pacers  as well as bike "sweepers" for the course preview. We're looking for volunteers who are familiar with the Baystate course to lead runners through 16 miles of the full marathon and 6 miles of the half marathon.  Please sign up for the pace you can run.…
