Sign up to pace/volunteer at Baystate Course Preview

It's me again, asking for more volunteers. :-) This time its for the Baystate Course Preview.  Once again, we will be holding a Course Preview.  Runners will get a chance to come and run part of the Baystate course before the big day.  The course preview will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2024.   We're looking for volunteers who are familiar with the Baystate course to lead runners through 16 miles of the full marathon and 6 miles of the half marathon.  Please sign up for the pace you can run. Feel free to leave a comment for any additional info we can use when planning the pace groups.   We will also need registration, water stop volunteers as well as people on bikes to monitor/sweep the course.  …

Cross Country is here! And reminder for Grand Prix

The 2024 Cross Country schedule has been released!  If you have never run cross country (XC) you should give it a try.  It's hard but a ton of fun.  Take a look at the schedule I listed below.   If you are interested in running any of the USATF-NE XC Grand Prix races with GLRR, please fill out this form to show your interest.  It's not a commitment to run, just to help us keep track of teams for XC races.  Again, you are responsible to register yourself for the first 4 XC races and remember to put GLRR for your team when registering.  We will register you for the NE XC Championships (information for this will be sent at a later date).   Here’s the full USATF-NE XC Grand Prix schedule: Old…
