Winter Track

As a club, we typically meet for the Winter workouts on most Thursdays starting at 7:15 PM at the Lexington High School Field House, which is at the Lexington High School complex.   

The Town of Lexington has not yet published the dates for track usage yet for the 2025 Winter, but we assume Thursdays will still work. For Winter 2025, the track will be available from January 6 – April 17.  Time – 8:00-10:00pm.  You can go to this link for the town’s information on dropping in, cost and using the indoor track. 

Winter workouts are self-timed and self-motivated, so make sure you bring your watch.

The track is just over 11 laps to a mile. It has a rubberized surface with 4 lanes and is shaped as a squashed letter “D” providing much easier turns than a rectangular track. The turns are banked such that the tighter the turn – the more the banking. Overall, it’s a good indoor track.

The is a drop-in fee of $7 for residents and $10 for non-residents; seasonal pass is $75 residents and $100 non-residents. (Note, the money goes to Lexington Park and Rec – not us.)   

Please note, whenever school is canceled or the school is closed, the field house is not available for use.

After the workout, many adjourn to Mario’s in Lexington Center; it’s an Italian pasta/pizza shop.
