Group Runs

Many people think that they need to be a certain speed in order to participate in our group runs.  Nothing could be further from the truth! We run (pun intended) by the adage “All distances, All paces!”  We usually break up into several groups at our group runs. Some do short runs, others do long.  Some want to go fast, while some wish to go slower.  Whatever works for you, works for us!

 

And if you are not a GLRR member yet, don’t worry, we’d love to run with you!  Please feel free to join us on any of our group runs.

 

Saturdays 8:00 AM GLRR Group Run – from the “Coop” 

Saturday morning group runs are from April 1st through December 31st.

The group run starts each Saturday (unless noted on FB) from the “Coop”, that is, the GLRR Office at 1934 Lakeview Ave. Unit #1, Dracut, MA

It’s the first unit on the right as you come in from Lakeview Ave.  We ask that you park down towards the back of the (long) parking lot.   When you arrive, please sign in, noting the distance and pace you’d like to cover; then you can team up with others around the same, or willing to do the same. We have bathrooms! 

 

(During January and February, the group runs are replaced by the Fudgcicle 5K series on Saturday mornings in Tewksbury. During March the group runs are for those training for the Boston Marathon on the Boston course.)

Other Group Runs

GLRR members organize groups run at other times on their own. Check our Facebook page to either see if others have posted about an upcoming run. Or make a post yourself, noting when you’d like to run, what distance and pace you’re looking to do etc.  We look forward to seeing you out there!
